    Today, we will go along #1HWY to visit the attractions around the Rocky Mountains in Canada and stay overnight at the Banff Town.At first, we will head to YOHO National Park.And then, we will observe the Castle Mountain and Kicking Horse River by distance. Next, we will visit Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge. After lunch,we will go to visit Lake Louise firstly,in addition, we will have a chance to try Snow Shoeing,the equipment for snowshoeing is provided for free. (This activity is subject to weather condition.)

    Today,we will start from driving toJohnston Canyonwhich is a tributary of the Bow River in the Rocky Mountains.You can see the frozen waterfalls and enjoy Ice Walk (Rivet shoes are provided ),the free hot chocolate drink is prepared to warm you up.Next, we will visit Rundle Mountain which is the top ten of the Rocky Mountain,and Vermillion Lake which is the best place to watch Rundle Mountain and one of the most popular locations for photographers.In addition, the Surprise Corner and Bow Falls are worth visiting for us. In the end ,we will back to Calgary and make a short stop in Banff Town.

    Day 3 Replacement Tour: Banff/Lake Louise Village- Bow Lake- Abraham Lake-Calgary (During 25 Dec 2019 - 03 Mar 2020)

    Today, travle through the Icefields Parkway, we are entering Jasper National Park and we will also watch the notable parkway's landmarks Crowfoot Glacier along the way.Afterwards, we well visit theBow Lake which is one of the largest lakes in Banff National Park.Fed by meltwater from the Bow Glacier in the Wapta Icefield, the lake lies at the base of Bow Summit, which is perfectly reflected in its aquamarine waters on a calm day. Great place for a short stroll. And then, we will head to the Abraham Lake which is famous for Frozen Bubbles Lake in the winter.It is due to a phenomenon that creates "frozen bubbles" under the ice. The decaying plants on the lakebed release methane’s gas, bubbles of which are trapped just below the surface as the lake begins to freeze.Besides, at your own expense, you can add a helicopter experience about 12 minutes.In the end ,we will back to Calgary and make a short stop in Banff Town.

    -There is no walking path around the Abraham Lake. Please pay attention to personal safety during the tour, wearing non-slip shoes.

  • Winter Trip Reminders
  • 1.The weather in the Rocky Mountain Scenic Area is dry and cold in winter. The temperature is usually under 10°C. Please prepare adequate winter clothing, hats, wool socks and waterproof ski boots or sports shoes.
  • 2.The “Waiver”need to be signed when joining winter activities. We recommend all our passengers to purchase "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies.
  • 3.The Rocky Mountain is located at a high altitude and there is still plenty of sunshine in winter. Please bring sunscreen, sunglasses and hat to avoid ultraviolet radiation and avoid the possibility of snow blindness.
  • 4.In the Rocky Mountain Scenic Area, there are a lot of winter activities; It is recommended to plan the itinerary in advance and pre-book the activities.
  • 5.Banff Upper Hot Spring: outdoor natural hot springs, the temperature difference in winter is large, be sure to keep warm after the hot springs get up; it is recommended that the soaking time should not exceed 15-20 minutes; the hot spring area provides lockers, please pay attention to the safekeeping of valuables.
  • 6.Snow shoes walking: Keep warm in outdoor activities; walk in snowy lakes and canyons, need to wear non-slip shoes.
